Little Houses. We've always been fans of Marimekko. Launched this fall, Mökki is Aino-Maija Metsola's pattern inspired by the shore houses along the Porvoo river. The graphic pattern manages to court the line between abstract and representational. While we're especially fond of the green and gray color stories...

the red and purple are attractive, too. We'd like to make the green into curtains. The red Mökki pattern is also found on various housewares, including laminate trays, mugs, aprons and potholders.

Cute. Reminds me of the favela paintings I saw in Rio de Janeoro's fleamarket.
