Fall Colors Introduction -------------------------------
Welcome, everyone, to our Fourth Annual Fall Colors Sharing & Contest. We're looking for the most beautiful & colorful home in the world and sharing all of the great ideas we get with our readers. This year we're amping things up and hoping to do things better than ever. There are two basic phases, the Sharing Phase and the Voting Phase...
1. Sharing Phase - you comment, judges decide
The 40 best, completed entries will be posted on a daily basis for three weeks. You can view them all at anytime via our new, improved contest pages under ALL ENTRIES. During this time your comments are VERY IMPORTANT as our six judges will be choosing 16 finalists from each region based on comments and their own colorful opinion.
2. Voting Phase - you vote till you drop
Starting October 20th, finalist voting will begin on a daily basis through our new bracketed voting system, which will pit our 16 finalists against one another until only one remains. Sound exciting? We hope so.
Best, Maxwell

Lots of color and it looks very retail, you would be a good store vignette designer. Good use of lighting and I love the green art over the sofa.

It's nice and colorful - but completely over-accessorized.

like the use and incorporation of the clocks as and with art.
not sure i like the Stolman by the kitchen pass through though. I think that wall would look better without the addition of even more stuff.
would love to see more rooms too!

i like the silver gear clock.
this is very fresh. my only complaint is it's a townhouse, & you only showed us one area. why?

for mariegael . .
this is a 3 floor townhouse and we only occupy one of the floors (3 bedroom apartment).
we have been working for this area for about 3 months.
there are alot of things to work on for the other rooms.
we are now focusing on our daughter's room. the budget is pretty tight and it cannot be done in one-two weeks :).
thanks

so impressed with this entry! great color choices that played off each other beautifully, they also bring so much vitality into the space.. the lighting fixtures are cool too, and you can see so much multi-functionality in the furnishings.. overall a job super well done!

love everything about it! modern, eclectic, yet whimsical in some way. smart choice of colors, furnitures, and functionality. it's just tad over accessorized, probably lose some of the flowers (living room and dining)?

I really love the way color was used to separate the different spaces in the room. The different colors gave the room much more dimension & personality. Perfect amount of color & accesories, the room went from drab to chic just by the use of color.

First of all, I love your color combination... orange and green!!
Colors mix well together!
Orange wall, you use 4 different kinds of clocks.. It brings modern and fresh look...
Also green wall, you use square frames and one big circle mirror that help to flow the idea to capture the eye! The white wall, again you create boards in both colors, orange and green to keep in one theme and use accent colors black and white in each wall to stay in modern look.
Each wall, you use different colors and products, in some ways it looks messy and use over products to decorate on the wall but I think each items have strong characters to show the connections of your concepts and mood.
Overall, excellent layout and perfect amount of accessories, mostly I like about this room the lighting!! The lighting brings into romantic, powerful color and chic look!!
Good work!!
