Apartment Therapy and CB2 are excited to announce that we are now taking submissions for our fourth annual Fall Colors Contest. Readers interested in entering their colorful homes in the contest can visit the contest home page for all rules and submission guidelines. Submissions will be accepted up through Tuesday, October 14.
NOTE: Earlier this week we had some technical bugs in the submissions form. If you have attempted to enter the contest and did NOT receive a confirmation email, please resubmit your entry.
The colorful textiles pictured are part of the Skye Collection from Barber Osgerby.

I wish there were a couple of categories for submission, and then the finalists in the various categories duked it out for prizes. For example:
--colorful walls (the main punch should be wall color, whether or not textiles and furnishings and art are colorful too);
--colorful furnishings and textiles (whether or not the walls are splashy too);
--colorful small space (1000 sq ft or less);
--colorful large space (1000 sq ft);
And, honestly, I think it should be DIY, rather than DDI (designer did it).

I think the new voting format is an excellent improvement over previous years. I also suspect it will mitigate problems comparing designers and regular folks, though I too would love to see separate categories. Maybe for the Small Cool Contest?
