These two were my favorites along with:

Northwest #24: Christine's Colorful Budget Cottage (who was robbed! An investigation needs to be conducted there.)

I'll be happy with either candidate (Jesse .........or .............Melanie & Dave)
winning.

Happy Halloween!

Can't believe my favorite entry (and a Midwest entry, at that) made it to the finals. Go Jesse!

I voted for Melanie and Dave...Jesse´s entry is not my taste, and it´s my less favorite from all entries. I can´t believe it´s in the finals.

Oh, Jesse all the way, and apparently I failed to log on in time to vote, but it looks like he's out in front anyway...

Interesting that submission that put a picture of himself rather than of his flat is some how winning.

I think he wins only because he put that picture of himself there... I like Dave and Melanie´s place much more.

I think the best homes were, unfortunately, knocked out in earlier rounds and that this became more about who could mobilize friends and family to vote for them rather than based upon the best use of color and interior design.

I agree with Gigi818. I wonder how many of the voters for Jesse signed up within the last week?

to all Jesse detractors,

i agree many inspiring and well-thought out homes were knocked out for inferior ones... but Jesse's definitely isn't! Jesse's home is a beautiful place, with strong use of color, well-designed and unique, but totally 'live-able' at the same time... and deserves to have gotten far. I think quite a lot of people feel that way. It may not be your personal style, but his design element is very strong.

I agree with little chimp. Jesse's flat is authentic. His front entry way design was done a long time before it was in that magazine.
With this entry, I can assure you that mobilizing friends and family was not the case. I'm sure every entry in this contest mobilized friends and family. The best design according to outside viewers will determine the winner.

I'd love to vote but when I click on Vote Now I get the 2 contestants' entries but no place to pick one over the other. Oh well.............
