Why I use color:

"I have been doing a complete remodel of our apartment and this was the first room to be finished. We chose Ivelisse's favorite colors to make a room where she would feel comfortable and could relax and study. As pink was her most favorite color, we used it for the walls which gives the room a nice warm feeling. The floor stripes in the rug were designed to pick up the color from the walls, the orange shelving unit ,and the green stool plus the headboard from the bed. I also did some artwork for her to hang on her walls to give it a cheery feeling."

Color Tips:

"1. I think that using colors that make you feel good are important parts of feeling happy.

2. I wouldnt use more than three colors as that would make it hard to tie the room together.

3. Don't be afraid to break the rules"

"1. We read many interior design magazines and furniture catalogues.

2. We also visited many stores such as DWR and Modernica for inspiration."
