As an avid reader of apartmenttherapy.com and an expatriot living abroad in Germany i am shocked to see that you are excluding myself and my bretheren abroad from your contest.
It is fall here in Frankfurt as well and I will be sure to keep all of my European design and my lovely fall color palate to myself, thank you very much!

there is no actual clause to state that it is only open to USA residents so there for you can enter

Well, it does SOUND like it's meant to only be the United States. But if you're going to enter anyway, I'd say that you're East of the Mississippi River.

Kristian, we have to draw the line SOMEWHERE for the contest, but we've never left someone out in the cold who wanted to come in. If you send in pics of YOUR colorful German room, we'll post them.

Umm. The contest page bookmarked above does say in the USA, specifically the lower 48 states. But I'd still love to see what people are doing elsewhere outside the US.

Why do you have the draw the line somewhere? Although I don't have a colourful room to post, I am Canadian and I bet you have lots of other non-US readers.

Perhaps I'll someday enter a future version of the contest. Right now, my photo presentation would be called "Why I NEED Color"!
