Congratulations to everyone, entrants, readers and voters alike. With the final ticking of the clock, October's contest wound down to a surprising finish with two Californian entrants taking the top two places. Third was a surprisingly mod duo from the Great Lakes region, while us easterners got dusted, and our best bet, Ky, with an inventive and stunning use of orange, failed to tickle the electorate. Nevertheless, they are all winners, as are we, for getting to see so much good work. Thanks to everyone and get ready for next year...
Kate.............................Jon...........Tod & Corey Marie................Ky
The final vote history is here, the Contest Page is Here, we're going to be getting in touch with all the finalists in the next day, and NOW, so as not to tax anyone's goodwill, we move on to November.....

Way to go Kate!!!!
I'm thrilled you are the winner.
Enjoy your shopping spree!
congratulations! this contest was inspiring and made me want to decorate with more color! i just feel like something is strange about those numbers...a panel sounds like a much better way to judge future contests. congratulations to this site and to CB2 as well on a contest well received!
Hey! Don't forget those 5 runners-up and the soap, hunh? I want my dang soap!
Congrats Kate and all the other winners!
Thanks Patrick (too), Kellyo and company for leading the rally. It was a monumental task and a valiant effort. Something from CB2 would have been nicer but you now each get 1/2 a bar of soap or a capfull of bath salts--your choice!
Finally an end to all of this!!
But seriously, congrats to the winner and runners up, your designs are inspiring and have motivated me to spice up my monochrome studio.
Okay time to shout out some major thank you's to all who voted for me. I am blown away by your support and feel grateful for all who believed in my design. Also much thanks to those who gave me such great feedback, words of wisdom, and asked questions about my design. As for those who did not vote for me or left me negative feedback, its okay because design is conceptual and we all see the world differently.
Congrats to my fellow finalists and if only we could sit down together and recap and chat about design over a round of drinks on me! Best wishes to all.
I wish to also make some personal thank you's for voting for me to..............
my family and my partner's family for overall general support and passing the word along.
my friends and collegues who pushed me to enter the contest in the first place and then for the momentum they created with telling all who would listen.
those people who added the contest link to their webpage/myspace.

Clients whose votes I do so appreciate
My best friend and partner for rallying our community group.
And last to my precious bulldog Annabell who had to forgo her breakfast due to her mothers lapse caused by the excitement at the realization of this mornings vote count.
love you all so much

but also that Kate won, I was sorta rooting for Jon myself, but I was slightly torn between the two. I love her bathroom, so beautiful. Congrats to all the winners.
Thank God its OVER!!!
Kudos to all! Everyone deserves a prize just for entering and sharing their homes with us.
Again thanks to all the entrants and winners. I might not agree with everyone's choices, but its sure given me a lot of ideas to consider before I start painting my apartment.
