Pitch:
I used to work for an upper east side antiquarian print/map dealer.
I have picked up bits and pieces over the years, here and there, such as the black and white 18th century print in the the entry which I found in a really crappy antique shop near Easton, PA. It was mixed in with a bunch of junk ephemera, price: $3.00. (More below..)
The dandelion in the kitchen is from same time period purchased on ebay 5 years ago for aprox $50 sans frame, which is quite old itself, and was picked up for another $20.
The poster leaning on the table was in my grandparents attic, the sculpture picked up at a modernist furniture shop for $160, stamped ELAYNE BRAUN, (not google-able, if anyone knows more...)
Have been eyeing contemporary photography recently, and hope to find soemthing large and colorful to complement the print collection...

that's lovely
Nice to see style and medium so different from all the other entries. I love the dandelion. Oh, for the old eBay, when shopping was like browsing through your grandmother's attic (actually, my grandmother never had an attic, but nevermind).
actually the poster mentioned is not shown.
I painted the painting a few years ago.
I really like the dandelion & the frame it's in!
The dandelion print and the Hogarth-like B&W from your grandparents' attic so together well in style. Photographically speaking, it's hard to get a good sense of the composition of the painting or where you're going overall with the style of your place. Ditto with descriptions, or lack thereof. Where you going wit dis?
Over-all style direction...
gallery-like, antiques and modern mix in a clean uncluttered setting.
my furniture ranges from 19th century english, such as the card table the sculpture is on, I have a large 70's chrome and glass coffee table, as well as a bunch of chinese antique stuff, such as the side table in the dining area, and the armoire-like cabinet next to desk.
My upolstered items veer towards traditional, wing chairs, george smith ottoman...
