We love the story behind this bright idea. Designer Michael Lammel came up with the concept for Eve from a childhood memory of his grandmother washing vegetables from the garden. Lammel says, She had thick glasses and couldnt see very well, and my sisters and I always had to search for dirt in our salad...
Which brings us to the Eve faucet that illuminates the sink while you wash. The faucet's light can be turned on without water, too, bringing countertop lighting to small kitchens. The bright little fixture is available in stainless steel or chrome from KWC America.
We can see swiveling the light to illuminate a cookbook on the countertop or using it as Lammel imagined - to help properly wash produce. -regina
