NY Good Questions: What Type of Backsplash Should I Get?

5.7kitchen.jpgDear AT,

We are almost done with our kitchen renovation and would like AT reader suggestions on what we should do with the backsplash.

As you can see in the picture we have the backsplash installed on the back wall but there is a wall on the right which is currently painted.

Should we tile that too? Should the tile reach the door frame or stop at the countertop?...

If no tile, then should we put in a slab of caesarstone along the edge like we have in the other picture?

But then do we have to do that on both sides (along the left edge bordering the cabinet) to maintain symmetry?

Thanks! Vidula

You should continue the tilework to the doorframe

i think a tile mosaic could be good fun, add a splash of color.

continue with same tile. Hard to tell from picture, how high up you should go.
