They range from rustic to industrial to exotic. When we were searching recently for a farmhouse dining table, we turned to Country Home and Comfort on W22nd.
Though they don't have a website, the store is worth a visit if you're ever in the neighborhood. We still think of them primarily when it comes to wooden dining tables, but they're also a good source for benches, dining chairs, and desks.
Their prices are middle-of-the-road and their staff is friendly and helpful. Whenever we step in here from the loud, busy sidewalk, all seems to slow down. Go for a browse and linger at their equally relaxing cafe.

Not my first choice for things Moroccan in that neighborhood -- hip and humble would be that -- but every time I go into country home, I keep thinking, so close to what I'd want, and yet....
