Paper Presentation

23 W. 18th Street
New York, NY
(212) 463-7035

11-9-paper.jpgFor a goldmine of paper supplies, Paper Presentation is the place to go. They carry a huge selection of stationary at good prices. They also have decorative papers, invitations, party supplies, ribbons, organizational accessories and gifts.

You can go there for something as small as a single envelope in a wild array of colors or to stock up on entire reams of Crane cotton paper.

if heaven exists, it's just like Paper Presentation.

which, by the way, is know by a lot of people as Paper Access, for reasons i've never understood. so if you ever get sent off to "Paper Access", this is what they're talking about. don't bother circling the block trying to find a different paper store by that name.

there are other nice paper shops on this block, though (or there used to be) and also 17th st and 19th st. Anyone know of a nice paper shop in brooklyn? I am looking for some of those large sheets of decorative paper-- the marbled stuff.

This reminds me...I miss JAM PAPER. Did they all close or just the one in Chelsea and on the UES?

This store is beautiful. They also have a wide assortment of personal planners- one of the best I've seen. And you can stop by City Bakery afterwards for some hot chocolate and a pretzel croissant!

it used to be called Paper Access, and it was lovely then as well.

I went around and around pricing out green envelopes for my wedding invitations/response cards/thank you notes as well as brown "enclosures" (those foldy things) for the invitations and matching green stickers to close them with. (Whew.)

Papersource had some great options but in the end I got more precisely what I wanted from Paper Presentation. I liked being able to go in and see the stuff in person, then order online for the bulk discount. Papersource was very sweet about sending samples but they were just scraps of paper so it was hard to imagine them as whole envelopes.

I also had to return some things to Paper Presentation (extras) and they made it easy even though they had to mail it back to the website. They did it for me and I got a credit to my card within a few days.
