Great rug in the bedroom!! Where did you find it?

Kelly-
Click on my name for a link to a rug at West Elm. I think that it is the same one.

What is the blue piece above your bedroom dresser?
You have a nice place, thanks for posting the pics.

Vivienne,
I think it's a mirror.

Yes, the rug is from West Elm - the moroccan rug.

Also, it is a mirror above the dresser. I am also looking for artwork above the couch and above the bed, if anyone has some good suggestions.

I can't believe I made the cut! So exciting for someone who has been reading this blog for a long time.

The dresser and (attached) hardware is from Ikea. Unfortunately, I don't see my exact dresser online, but it is part of the MALM series. Here is the link: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?cattype=sub&topcategoryId=15597&categoryId=16311&parentCats=15597*16253&storeId=12&catalogId=10103&langId=-1

The dresser looks like it's Ikea's Malm in the medium brown finish with some Lansa handles attached to the top two drawers.

where did you get your little leather table/foot stool in front of your couch?

I got it at Target (yes, I have to be a very budget-weary decor shopper). It is a Thomas O'Brien piece with storage under the hinged top. I don't see on the website anymore, but this might be a good option:

I thought that little table was a DIY, it looked like a briefcase with legs added! Ha!

This is my ideal -- simple, welcoming, and unpretentious. Someone with a mental and spiritual life lives here. Someone with a warm heart, who is more interested in making people feel welcome than in things or trends, but also someone with a keen and original aesthetic sensibility and sense of fun.

I want to buy a chair. Is it worthy to buy XCooper Sound Chair on Black Friday?
Black friday price is $88. Searched online and can not find any other deals beating that.
Here is my list to share with you:
