(Oooops! Jill just informed me that Vanessa is todays' house tour, so we're switching that Flickr find for CMurtagh right here. Vanessa will be back up later.)

Who doesn't love a green room? A new addition to our Flickr set, CMurtagh's beautiful newly green dining room puts a good spin on what can be a very difficult color to paint with. Also, check out his Patio Project, which will give you an excellent idea of how one is built, step by step. If you are jealous about how nice and clean it seems, remember that it isn't NYC, it's somewhere in Boston (we think). (Thanks, CMurtagh!)

I liked this a lot; it looks happily lived in and very comfortable, with a nice, relaxed style. Really liked all of the touches of nature throughout the space, and as Maxwell mentioned, the natural light is fantastic.
loved the apartment - seems really inviting and the natural light definitely warms it up! seems you capitalized on the light with all those large mirrors. i'm in the market for a clean lined floor/leaning mirror like one of those - but the price tags seem pretty steep. may i ask where you got them?
Sorry to switch post on you two above, but Vanessa will be up as a full house tour in an hour.
Suddenly, I have a craving for green tea ice cream. And I don't even like green tea.
Maxwell:
And when Vanessa's back, I don't think you want to describe her house tour as "fullsome." The word (spelled with one "l") means "unctuous, offensively insincere."
mulholland drive, it's in LA
I covet the view, the patio (great work), also beautiful table
Beautiful color - we have green in our dining room, too. And I love that table - where is it from?
The first slide says that he (CMurtagh) made the table himself. Wow!
I love that color! I wanted a color like that for my kitchen but it ended up going way too dark. I second the color request.
In the comments for another photo in the slide show, CMurtagh says that the colour is "asparagus" from Behr.
As cmurtaugh's SO, I thought I would set the record straight - we live in Somerville, MA, just outside of Boston. We do have a view, just not from Mulholland Dr.
Thanks for the kind words!

A really beautiful mix of old and new.....
I would love to eat breakfast in that room!
