According to comments on the post, Good Questions: Who Made My Great Rope Chair?, R. Girl says, "this [great chair find] is actually a knock-off, made in yugoslavia. but it's still vintage mid-century. [The chair is] redecorated with an IKEA white POLARVIDE throw blanket, an IKEA scribble pattern BETTAN BLOM pillow, a white embroidered Target pillow and an IKEA ALSEDA footstool."
It looks fantastic, and we love the rest of your place, too. (Thanks, Revolutionary Girl!)
LOVELY! I recently bought the same exact Yugoslovian knockoff from a local woman for a mere $25 (she had it listed on Craigslist) and I love it! It's super comfortable and it fits perfectly under the small window in my bedroom for a nice little reading nook.

I have the matching Yugo-knockoff folding footstool, but no armchair.

I bought a pair for $30 from craigslist. Both chairs are in excellent condition.

thanks for the follow up. too often there's a question, a bunch of answers, and no one ever posts what happened after that
