One year later. Silly Narziss posts some great shots of their apartment a year after moving in. The apartment is homey and modern. According to Narziss, the apartment is in an old schoolbuilding in the historic port area...

LOVE this space. Agree ... love the wallpaper, love the dandelion print.

I had a place once that had that same set up with the ceiling ... lower celiing with the tall windows that extend past the ceiling height. Creates such a unique space.

Where is the chandelier in your bedroom from? Is it glass or acrylic? Can't tell while it's all glowy ;-)

Where did you get those lamps hanging in the dining room? I just finished my dining room and cannot decide what to do about lighting. Those lamps are just perfect!

hey, orange--

Is it perhaps a Julian Opie? Has that vibe. Though no nurses found on a quick peruse of the Julian Opie site.

This place is one funky flower arrangement and a quick style away from being Domino-ready. And I mean that as a compliment!!!

thank you all for the kind words.

answering some questions: nurse painting is by christian junghanns, german painter. he has a webshop too.

wallpaper by eijffinger.nl

chandelier by shop. no weblinks.

and some more answers... :)

- chandelier is glass / acrylic combined
- lampshades are regular white cilinder shades from trendhopper.nl
- dandelion is by eijffinger too
- bookshelves: ikea's 'journalist'

eddie--
CB2 and DWR both have similar hanging drum chandeliers. And there is usually a text ad on the right of AT for "Modern Pendant Lighting" that will lead you to similar styles that you can customize.

If you have a little more cash to drop and want a really luxe look, try Zia Priven.

when I was a girl living in Jamaica, I remember my aunt using a special paint roller that had a design effect similar to the wallpaper. I have been searching for one for sometime now and cannot find it. I am thinking of using BM's veil on a red wall in my dining area.
any suggestions?
