Last week we honored 28 Commerce Street for its flower boxes - this week we're drawn back to the very same block to bestow the award to the two boxes just a few doors down at 20 Commerce Street.
Stuffed into old, painted-white boxes are a fountain of potato-vine, coleus and other common flowerbox ingredients. What sets these boxes apart is the way the owner has clearly trained the vines to grow both up along the window frame and trail down toward the sidewalk. Some young trendrils of vine also made their way around the stem of a leaf of Elephant Ear. Gorgeous! SKG

How about getting out of the neighborhood a little bit? Come up to Hamilton Heights in Harlme and you'll see much more beautiful than this.
Dear Mray,
Would love to, but we don't have a lot of time to wander..... If you send us a nice photo and your own review, we'll post it! We would love to see what you got up there.
