We've never seen such organized chaos on this side of the pond. Leave it to our British friends to take the notion of flower box gardening over the top. I love the open window on the second floor - can't you just imagine the fresh floral scents that must waft into that room? (They may even be enough to cut the scent of ale coming from the ground-floor pub.)
So our first International Flower Box Award goes to The Churchill Arms building in London. Seeing these photographs just after our election gave this disappointed American reason to smile at a little red, white and blue. I vote for more Impatiens and Lobelia around the world. I vote for all the nations' colors expressed in bloom. (Thanks, Graham!) skgr
