i love the incorporation of the office into the living space! i'm a firm believer of USING space, not just filling it (for example - i dont have a chair in my bedroom. i wouldn't sit in it, and it would probably just catch clothes etc ...). this is a nice example.

drool!
it's my dream apartment, but with the three dogs, I'd need a yard, too. :) I love to walk around DUMBO and day-dream. One day...
Hey, Owner, what's the deal with the shelves? Are they drilled into the wall? In our current (rental) apartment, we have metal studs which means no drilling into the walls, and, therefore, no shelves (although we have 12 foot ceilings!) It's frustrating! I'm searching for a solution. If those shelves are free standing, I might have found it.

Standard issue.

This loft is beautiful. Could use more furniture in the living room to cozy it up a bit. The bathrooms are elegant. And I that bed in the master bedroom looks like the one I want from De La Espada. Little jealous. Great use of color - bold yet edited and restrained.

Lovely place, but no one's squawking at the nearly $1.6M price tag??

Nearly perfect.

sadly, I think 1.6 for dumbo is pretty reasonable. the only question is what goes in the post-crash market.
love the kids room. all those books!

Unbelievable place...and I think the price is right on the money for this unit. Curious about the credit market, but units seem to still be selling in this building despite the market.

rockypondgirl, why would anyone "squawk" at the price tag? that's a great deal for the size and location of that home. this is new york city. my studio in the lower east side was appraised at 250K in 2004. 'tis the way it be in NYC.

One question. What type of flat screen mount is being used and where can it be purchased?

I agree the apartment is stunning but the price is little high, 11c closed in Aug ( a totally different market) for 1.525m. This should be priced about 200k less than current asking price.
