Lounge: Modern Watering Can

4-4-watering-can.jpgThis stainless steel watering can from Metz & Kindler is sleek enough that you won't need to worry about where to store it — display it! In addition to being dishwasher safe, it's matte finish won't display fingerprints, water spots and smudges as much as a glossy finish would. It's one of the new items available from the MoMA Store...

I like the can a lot. But not the price. I don't know if I can bring myself to pay that much for a watering can. BUT - I do need a new one. Mine doesn't hold enough water and I have to refill frequently. What I need is a long narrow spout like this one and a decent capacity but at 30 bucks or less (preferably less.) Doesn't matter if it's metal or plastic as long as it looks decent because it will stay on a counter.

I've been looking for an attractive one as well. I see this holds 2 quarts (enough for houseplants but probably not for balcony pots) -- have you tried it? does it drip down the front or actually pour out water in a nice steady stream?
