Ochre's new Canvas Line & Utility Canvas
Gift Fair 2009

giftfair.jpgThe Gift Fair last month had a number of highlights, which we're going to spit out this week. The first two (and they are not in any order) are two companies that share the same name and a lovely attachment to texture and materials, but have very different styles...

Hal Grano and Jillian Kaufman-Grano left SoHo a number of years ago for upstate Gardiner, NY, but continue to make their thick, soft canvas line of clothing, blankets, cushions, placemats and big floor blankets. The colors are bright and they're now introducing patterns as well.

>> Utility Canvas

Brits Harriet Maxwell Macdonald and Andrew Corrie's have extended Ochre's really high end style with a much more affordable line that shares the same look and feel. Dubbed "Canvas," this complete collection of lovely, earthy and neutral housewares, furnishings and tabletop items were on full display at the fair.
