"Thanks so much for giving me the decals. After moving into my apartment at the beginning of the month I had no idea what I would do to decorate my 2 walls that are harder than brick (which is why I painted them blue and yellow) or my bathroom that is tiled from floor to ceiling.

- Three Weeks Ago!
After putting the Chandelier up in the bathroom I began to feel like I was living in the Gregg Araki movie Nowhere, but in a good way, not in a "turn into a bug" way. The Iron Vines were the easiest to put up and I liked that they echoed my lamp shade, sort of.

- Three Weeks Ago!
I only used half of the flock decals, but I love the pattern they created on my yellow wall next to my bed.

- Bedroom During.....
Again, thank you so much! I had a lot of fun putting these up! I can't wait to have a house warming party and get everyone's reactions."

Cute! I think Tennille did the best job at using the decals in a way that complements the style of the apartment.
How do we vote?

Fabulous! I think this is the best use of these decals I've ever seen, including in Blik's ads.

Love everything but the bathroom! I like how the kitchen ceiling light matches with the blik.

very creative use of the bliks. do u ever get scared in that apt tho? it looks scary to me in the before shots. (not trying to freak u out).

Thanks for all your nice comments. I was so nervous about people seeing my apartment so soon after moving in (just to the outside of every frame are unpacked boxes and un-hung shelves). I was also a little worried I wouldn't like the decals, but now that they're up, I think they're beautiful! And unfortunately, the bathroom is what it is, but its certainly a lot more fun with a fake chandelier.

Great job!
I'm curious about the layout of this apartment. I really like the way you separated that first room by placing your bed where you did and making that clever curtained headboard. But just where is the kitchen in reference to the bedroom part?

Awesome. I love the way you used the decals. My only suggestion is that the flowers in the bathroom take away a little bit from the chandelier. Maybe something smaller would be better?

i agree with archie -- the flowers kinda clash with the chandelier, but it looks nice with the tiles. and switching out flowers or vases should be a snap.
i LOVE that you blik'ed the kitchen chairs to match the wall bliks. that really brought the whole area together (in addition the lampshade). taking that extra step was really bright and creative.
great job and wonderful paint colors!

me again. You're all right about the flowers, although I really wanted to find enormously tacky, tall and pink flowers in order to make it seem more cartoonish, but my little local flower shops didn't have anything close. My apartment is an old store front that take up the entire floor of the building, so behind the wall in the kitchen is a big closet and another entryway and the living space is on the other side. And its not scary anymore, I think its kind of cozy now that I'm moved into it.

This is so awesome! I was just about to ask if this was formerly a shop. I have a fantasy about living in a little old bookstore or something...
Love love love the yellow, by the way.

Love this, especially the kitchen. I like the way you added the little Bliks to the chairs to play off the ones on the wall, and it's great that the pendant pattern matches. Plus I love that blue.
FWIW, I think the flower arrangement in the bathroom is lovely, even if it wasn't quite what you were looking for. And the sunflowers over the bed are a nice accent with that wall and headboard.

I am laughing about how many--if not most--people would be daunted by that corridor. Did you love it when you saw it (the way I do)? What a great job you've done.
I can't think of a better place for the chandelier decal.

I love the chandelier on the tile. Does it come off? I don't think my landlord would appreciate something permanent.
