Choice of Blik Wall Decal:
Fly in midnite
Bamboo in Tan
Mod in Tangerine

Project Plan:
Our friends from graduate school recently bought their first home - a teeny townhouse and had their first child in it right after. They have not had any time to spend on the interiors. These blik decals would give me the opportunity to fill one bland beige wall in Anika's (the friend's daughter) room with a soothing montage of birds flying through a bamboo grove. One of the mod decals will be used as a sun. The remaining five will be used to form a pattern on the ceiling. And obvioulsy I don't have pictures of the room as I have not asked our friends yet but I am pretty sure our friends would love it too.

We bought our 1st house in January and have spent the last 7 months renovating(the house hadn't been touched since some very very bad diy in the late 1970's) and it's probably going to take us at least another 7 months to finish. Every single wall and ceiling had either foam or woodchip wallpaper on it which we have painstakingly removed. I LOVE pattern but after 7 months of stripping wallpaper can't bear the thought of putting up more. In some places when we stripped the paper the plaster came too! In our living room we first had to remove a layer of chipboard which was covering up the woodchip wallpaper and homemade electrics before finally reaching real wall. I would love some decals so I could bring back some pattern!

Decal Choice:
Flock - charcoal/mint
Mod - sky
Fly - gray/midnite

Chandelier in black
Flock in midnight
Flock in silver

I moved into a new apartment in May and have been battling bedbugs all summer. It seems like the little buggers are finally under control and I'm (finally!) feeling comfortable enough in my own home to want to spruce it up a bit. It's hard to put much energy into decorating when everything you own is in plastic bins or giant Ziplocs. I lean toward clean lines with neo-baroque accents and these Blik decals would be perfect in my living room and bedroom.

Choice of Blick Wall Decal:
Chandelier in Black
Flock in Snow
Iron Vines in Tomato

Why I Should Win/Project Plan:
Simply put, we're saving for our wedding therefore, our home decor has been put on the backburner. blik decals are a quick & easy - yet impactive - fix to our ongoing design dilemmas. We moved into this house and have been slowly fixing it up as time allows - but time is slim with a wedding on the way.

I plan on placing the chandelier in the dining room adjacent to the family room. We had a very Scarface-like white marble fireplace to work - but a few coats of a gorgeous blue-gray paint took the focus away from that eyesore. The chandelier would be a great contrast to the paint in the dining room and add style to an othersie lackluster area.

The flock in snow is for the niche in the kitchen ceiling. The kitchen needs some brightening - and I have planned to pain the niche a bright focal color like lime or yellow for sometime - placing these decals atop the paint would look amazing.

The iron vines in tomato is for our bedroom. After purchasing loads of stark white furniture and a trellis print gray/white ensemble from dwell - we have very little color in the room. I would use the iron vines to create a headboard on the wall behind the bed.

Project Plans:
My boyfriend and I live in the Washington, DC, and we've just purchased our very first condo...600 square feet of heaven. We close next week, and the older unit will soon be transformed, but on a very strict and limited budget. Pictures of the empty unit can be found at:http://web.mris.com/ipixviewer/viewer.cfm?pkg=10412429690&id=AR6424249

Kitchen: We plan to paint the cabinets white, add black hardwar, and lay a checkerboard floor with commercial vinyl tiles. The walls will be painted an ice blue. Just today (before even reading this post), I'd searched high and low to find the right black/grey bird decals for the kitchen walls. I thought it'd complement the black in the floor nicely.

Foyer: We plan to adorn the foyer with shelving, and the iron vines would certainly give this space some extra style.

I recently moved into an apt with the worst. walls. ever. The house in ancient and the walls and floors are uneven and eroding. Hey, it's cheap! The bedroom walls are covered with the worst. fakewoodpaneling. ever. A large flock of birds covering approximately 3 of the walls will brighten up this sad situation and will bring out/tie in colors in my gorgeous multicolored bedspread and other colorful accents.

Flock in Silver
Flock in Green Aray

Project:
I've wanted these blick decals since they came out, and have been waiting to move into an apartment I knew I could make a home. I just graduated with my M.A. which I've found to be totally useless, and am without any job prospects. But I have this great apartment in Brooklyn, with tons of wall space (and an equal amount of giant holes left from the previous tenants inability to use wall anchors). I love to entertain and cook constantly, so I am dying to make this a place my friends and family can enjoy as well.

Dining room: I HAVE A DINING ROOM!!! I plan to put the Chandelier on the wall of this teensy room next to my table. On the opposite wall is a giant closet, so it'd be not only classing up the joint, but distracting my guests from the fact that my shoes and dirty laundry are nearby.

Kitchen: I live on the first floor, facing a garden to which I don't have access. My neighbors haven't done anything with it and it's overgrown with weeds. I'd love the Fly to add lightness and color to my kitchen, as the green blob outside doesn't really elicit dreams of Provence.

Lastly, my bedroom: I've always loved Flock. It was one of blik's first decals, and I adore that it reminds me of simple and beautiful times in an antique world. I want my bedroom to be a throwback, a mimic of the apt in Bertolucci's Dreamers.

Choice of Blik Wall Decal:
(2) Fly in midnite and graphite
Iron Vines in midnight

Why I need these:

I just purchased my first apartment in Brooklyn, and it was an old cookie cutter apartment with no character, stamped out in the early 60's. To update it, I've renovated the kitchen (bright red lacquer slab doors!), torn down walls, and installed new floor (black forest hand scraped maple). With the bright red and the dark floors and soon to be installed aluminum baseboards, the place is looking bright, and mod - almost a little 60's pop art like. The walls are in need of serious help and what better way to complete the look than with some serious graphics! My little bathroom door is a bright red to match the kitchen cabinets. (It's all open, so visually you can see everything. I've painted the walls of the small hallway leading to the bathroom a clear blue. I was planning on stenciling the word LOVE onto my door in white. Then the birds would adorn the surrounding walls...creating the image of LOVEBIRDS. I've finally snagged the man of my dreams and he will be sharing this apartment with me, so I thought it fitting to have my wall reflect my good mood and our good fortune!

The iron vines is for the bedroom. The apartment is pretty boxy and square without any architectural flourishes or details. The curly iron vines would add a lot of interest.

1) Lucy
2) 1 "chandelier" set in black, 1 "iron vines" set in mint or white (see #3), 1 "flock" set in silver
3) My fiance and I have a bathroom with good bones -- that is, cool art deco tile and a nice paint job. The walls, however, have been blank since we moved in because I simply haven't been able to decide what to put on them. Here are the pictures:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/lucy_the_valiant/

I see this contest as a call to action. The procrastination must end!

The plan is to create a funky baroque look with the "flock," "iron vines" and one black chandelier. The room really seems to be calling for a chandelier, but the ceiling is quite low and I think we would just end up hitting our heads on a real one. Blik is a great alternative. My fiance has decided that he can't fight the girliness of the pink tile, and I personally love it, but we have balanced it a bit with some graphic black and white towels. I think the black chandelier will balance the towels nicely.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the "mint" blik color. Has anyone out there used it? In some pictures it looks like a soft jadite (like our bathroom tiles), but in others it looks like a bolder green. Advice appreciated. If the "mint" is too dark, I will use white instead.

Note to apartment therapy: I am in the San Francisco area, but didn't see this contest listed on the SF site yet. If you would like to move my entry, please go ahead. Thanks!

3 - I've just moved into a fun studio in an interesting space with one wall that is part brick and I've painted the rest of it yellow. Unfortunately, the yellow wall is hard as nails which means that unless I invest in a proper drill I'm stuck with one wall that can't be adorned with pictures, but would look amazing with one of these graphics on it. I would like Fly in green array, Chandelier in black, and Mod in tangerine.

My boyfriend Jon and I just moved in together into an apartment that has some beautiful qualities (#1 being across the street from the oceanfront park), but is very sterile to me. We are not allowed to paint the walls at all, which are immaculately white. Enter Jon and his lack of experience with color (in my mind) and his plain beige (!) bedspread. Our bedroom could use some help. I think flock would be great for the color, but also, because when I met Jon he had just moved into the city, and had pasted bird cutouts around his tiny studio apartment, perched naturally on things like the toothbrush holder and the door frame. He said he missed the birds. As a nature lover, I found this quite charming. I think he would find "Fly" charming as well.

Chandelier would be for our kitchen, which has the absolute worst lighting of any kitchen ever: fluorescent old elementary school style ceiling lights! Until we can afford a nice light fixture, we have to just light a lot of candles and use the stove light. I think that Chandelier would be a nice accent as well surrounded by some wall sconces and Jon's black and white photos. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/photos-by-jondonnell)

Lastly, I just think that some orange circles would bring a little more color to the living room. They would match the collages I have made out of vintage romance novel covers on old window frames and hung on the walls, and would carry out the dots on the Ikea rug and curtains nicely.

Thanks!

3) My husband started renovating our tiny guest bath almost three years ago after moving into our current home. He started painting but didn’t quite finish the plan. Primer can still be seen in some areas while most of the walls are an ugly teal…just a paint job gone bad! Needless to say, after three years of being in our home, we haven't invited many friends over because of our embarrassing bathroom. If I am chosen by AT to be among the lucky ones to get Blik decals, I hope to completely redo our guest bath into a room that shouts “Wow” (in a good way) and finally invite friends over and prove to them that we really do have a home.

bliks: fly in grey midnite x 2 and bamboo in kiwi
projects & why i deserve to win: bamboo will go in the living room (a victorian house we moved into on aug 1) on a 7'x9' wall, the transition area between the kitchen and living room of an open concept house. the living room has one wall that's all windows and looks onto our postage stamp garden thats full of natural bamboo and very green. the bliks will help bring more of that beautiful feeling through the house. for the fly's, we'd use them on my 7 year old's bedroom - its on the 3rd floor and has slopy ceilings; you can just picture the birds flying up her walls onto her ceiling.

p.s. i'm cute

Hi, my name is Mariko.
Bliks: 2 Fly green array and kiwi bamboo.

I just moved into a small house with 3 other girls for our second year of art school. We'd all like to make the space our own, but the rules of our lease are very prohibative on doing anything to the walls, including ANYTHING that creates lasting marks. With bliks we could add unique flavor to our house and hopefully reflect some of the creative spirit of the house... without losing our security deposit. I think that having the fly packs in our green living room might bring together our vaguely green second hand art student budget furniture and I want to balance all the pink in the bathroom, not my favorite color with the awesome lime of the bamboo. cute!

3) I live in a small apartment that has a long (about 20') and wide hallway leading from the living/kitchen area to the main bedroom. It's been unadorned for a year, plain white and boring. I'm planning to buy dark wall-mounted shelves for knick knacks and these decals would be the perfect complement in the remaining space. The lime green bamboo color even matches my painted wall in the living room (it also has bamboo blinds) - how cute would it be to have the green bamboo pieces create a continuity!

I moved to Louisville from New York City less than a month ago for work. I am basically a volunteer-- they just pay a living stipend. Although I like my job (I work with immigrants and refugees at a small non-profit) I can't really afford to decorate my apartment. I don't really know anyone here, so I spend a lot of time alone in my apartment. Although it's a big place, I only have 3 pieces of furniture... a twin bed, a donated couch, and a tv. My laptop sits on a phone book. Not to mention that all the walls are light brown. Yes, brown. SO, having blik decals would be pretty great. They would really make this place feel like home.

Flock - Charcoal & Mint combo
Fly - Green array

Reason you should support me!!

Similar story to everyone one else, boring white apartment walls which the landloard will not allow to be painted!! Do trust I have asked! I'm on a tight budget as well and while looking for an alternative to painting I Googled your wonderful site. I dig the designs and would love to have a go at decorating my walls. This is fate I tell you!
The birds would be flying up the stairs to the second floor, you can see the stairwell from the living room so they will add an extra pop of color to both areas. The Iron Vines will be on the living room wall mainly behind our sofa, with a couple separated out for a neat effect I have in mind. And finally the Flock design will be in the dinning area which houses a vintage record player along with an over sized antique mirror, so I think this combo will make it feel alittle more trendy, right now it looks like a cornor from my Granma's house.
Well that's what I have in mind, hope you can help a sister as my freinds would say!
Thanks a million!!!
Great site, I'll be buying soon..when the checkbook allows : )

I would love chandelier in black, chandelier in white and chandelier in white (again). Is it too boring to want the same 3? I'd like to overlap them and use the black to create a shadow effect under the white.
I'm a lighting designer for theatre, and everyone expects my apartment to have amazing lighting. Unfortunately, I spend my lighting time in the theatre and not in my apartment. I think I these chandelier wall decals are a perfect and attractive solution to my boring beige walls (see link).

My sister just had a baby and since they didn't know the sex, the nursery just doesn't look like a little girl's room, and surprise! That is what they had. I would love to use the Mod in Cotton Candy to spruce up the female factor in that room. The other two, the chandelier and bamboo, would be used in my apartment that I just moved into with my boyfriend. It is the first time we have lived together and were very excited about being able to have furniture that isn't hand-me-downs and decorate it how we would like. However, since we can't paint, getting the apartment as beautiful as I know it can be has been hard! Please help me create a beautiful nursery for my first niece and spruce up my very first 'grown-up' apartment!

I read with great envy many of the ideas and suggestions on Apartment Therapy. I'm envious because I live in an apartment complex that doesn't allow painting. I live in a beige and cream box. I've done my best with art, area rugs on top of the beige carpet, furniture etc. But the blik graphics would really help with my efforts to differentiate my beige box.

Specifically, my dining area has an asian feel to it and that is where I would use both of the bamboo sets. The Fly I would use in my bedroom in the bay window area so I can look the birds as I lie in bed.

I am a teacher in North Carolina and strapped for cash on a regular basis. I have an apartment similar to everyone else, white walls etc. etc. etc. So the mod sets would be nice to spice up the bedroom, or the dining room area. However, I spend more time in my classroom, then anywhere else in the world and it is in desperate need of something different. The walls are white cinderblock and they glow nicely under the flourescent light (blah!) So I thought the birds would look nice flying around the room, or even in the windows....just a thought. Hope I win- thanks for the opportunity :)

3| i am a recent graduate of the university of texas at austin with my degree in architecture and art history. i currently work at a small firm downtown and move from a campus-side studio into a house with two other roommates. both nice girls and the house is great. i just moved in and of course, the room i am renting is just for nine months but i would like to make it my own.

over the course of the next couple of days, i am priming the room and the small private bathroom. painting the bedroom a cool light grey. this is where i plan on placing the white iron vines to give a subtle difference that i hope, with the form of the graphic will be eye-catching. then the restroom will be painted a slightly medium-cool grey. the trim in the bathroom was painted white, while the trim and window frames are left in their "wood" condition as per the owner's request. so i am hoping the neutrals of the paint and the graphics will balance out the dark wood floor and trim. i am trying to achieve a open, bright space that utilizes ideas of space frames, scale, and modularity. it would be interesting to see how the colour and graphics coupled with my *new furniture of space frames and flor systems, come together.

i should have everything furnished within the week.

i think the idea of the product is great. the tag-line is awesome... as a designer, i have too many ideas and get caught not wanting to spend too much time investing in space that while is mine, is not. i plan on going to graduate school next fall and enjoy the challenge of being at home while being transient.

My boyfriend and I just moved in to our first apartment together in Portland, OR. We moved cross country from Boston, MA and had to get an apartment sight unseen for fear of being homeless when we arrived. So here we are in a not to shabby apartment save the cookie monster blue rugs.
We've made do and I think we've done a pretty neat job. All that's left is are the unpaintable, brown, lightsucking, cabinets in our tiny little kitchen nook.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/dulcenea/1324851572/

I was toying with the idea of faux-decoupage a technique I decided to invent to do something about these cabinets. But then I stumbled upon apartment therapy and blik and great new ideas are popping into my head with the use of blik's (3) flock in fun raspberry/kiwi. You should choose me because the before and after will be sure to amaze and showcase the room transformations that can occur with blik.

2) Fly in Black, Mod in Sky, and Iron Vines in Black

3) I would expand my lovely fly flock in my foyer because
larger flocks are better. My wife really wants to put iron vines on the bedroom ceiling which is rather blah right now. It is a slanted ceiling and the room has little focus, so the vines would make it a bit more run. I would Mod the study, because Mod's study, right? It would go on a similar slanted blank ceiling like the bedroom, and ultimately make the room more fun too. My walls would be much less bare and a lot more fun with Bilk! Ultimately, I want bilk to pick me so my landlady thinks I painted on her no-paint walls. Wouldn't that be fun?

3) I am pregnant and could really use a getaway, but I can't fly anywhere! I am hoping these beautiful birds will take me away to a better bedroom and provide a calm inspiration for those upcoming sleepless nights.

3. I have a VERY troublesome and boring hallway wall in my new apartment: When you first enter my apartment, you have to walk through a 30" wide, 40' long hallway before you hit my kitchen, talk about the tunnel of darkness! I think the blik graphics would look AMAZING on this otherwise boring corridor. With the blik wall decals, my guests would be greeted by a flock of birds who would fly them past the hallway and into the cozy living room!

Hi BLIK, my name is Keith
All of my decals would be going in one room...the bar! I have an extra room in my apartment with a bar that is in need of some TLC.

For my decal selection, I would like Fly in snow, for a wall that I'm going to paint with chalkboard paint. I think the contrast of white birds on a dark surface would really "pop". Guests can doodle and comment on the wall with chalk...fun, right?

I would also like the Chandelier in black. I plan on putting the decal on foamcore and cutting it out and hanging over the bar from the ceiling. My outlet supply in that room is sparse and I think this would be a fun way of pretending there is a light source there.

The iron vines in red would be my last choice for the wall behind the bar as I am going with a red theme in that room. And what a great conversation piece they would be there.

I believe I should win because the my ideas are unique and fun...and I would invite you over for some cocktails in my bar if you chose me!!!
Me bribe???........ NEVER!

Thanks again,
Keith

Iron Vines - Cocoa
Mod - Classic Red & Snow

I have a tall blank gold wall at the top of the stairs and a smaller but wide wall on the bottom of the stairs. Couldn't figure out what to do with it. At the bottom of the stair, I would place one of largest vines. Then, I would use the smaller vines as a chain on the side wall next to the stairs. Then on the tall blank wall 2 vines coming down and the largest vine below it. This way it would look as if it were a "connected" chandler. The 3 remaining vines would fill one of my bedroom walls nicely. Zig Zag style.

I have a huge blank wall in my bathroom and would use the mod design in a circle. Alternating red and snow.

I believe should win because I think this design would look best in my home and people would be envious (and add value to the home). It's not something that's common.

1. Mike
2. Fly - green array, Flock - raspberry/kiwi, Bamboo - tan
3. I live in an old dorm room at my medical school, and I haven't had the time/money/space/inspiration to give it some much needed warmth. Since it's a dorm room there is no kitchen or bathroom, but there is a sink (which gives the room a bit of the sense of a prison). What space I have is filled with books, notes, and food...which isn't very inspiring. It's sort of a dreary place right now, and it's felt more so since I started my third year of school. While I believe it's a privilege to be learning medicine and that it's very rewarding to take care of sick people, it also takes a toll physically and mentally. I was actually thinking about getting some blik decals to add some cheer to the room. However, considering how much money I'm borrowing, I'm always a bit hesitant to purchase something that's not a necessity. Well, maybe a nice room to call home should be considered a necessity. There is a big, very white, and very plain white wall next to my bed. It would be great to win these 3 sets so I can wake up to the peaceful scene of a swarm of green birds flying above and through a bamboo patch that is blossoming with raspberry and kiwi colored flowers. I think it would help put me in the right mood as I start my day. Anyways, regardless of this contest, I'd like to thank everyone who contributes to this website. I browse through it regularly, but I haven't posted since now (haha - yes, I'm only posting now that there are prizes to be won). But seriously, it's always a fun read, and I've come across some really cool and inspiring ideas here.

3) I think I should win because like most people here, I am a renter and have already gone against my landlord's wants with one huge wall of my living room covered in show/band posters (I work in music), I have an adjoining wall and an opposite wall with NOTHING on them, and one of those blank walls above my bed, and my projects would be something simple, clean, and hopefully a nice surprise for my girlfriend when she comes over to live with me in a month (from Britain!). Maybe it will give her that final push (she's teetering on the edge) to let me do whatever I want to our next apartment that will be together. She knows I'm a dork for this stuff but I just haven't had the means to make my apartment better since we've been dating and do believe she disbelieves in my actual ability :)

3) Like many people on here I've wanted blik wall graphics since the first time I saw them.

I've had many new things in my life lately, newly graduated with a graphic design degree, newly wed, moving to a new town in 4 days, new apartment, and starting a new job (my first as a real graphic designer!) One of the very first things I asked for the apartment was if I could paint, and there immediate answer was NO. This is a big change from where I live right now since every room is a different color, and that's what we refer to them as, purple, blue, and tan room instead of bedroom, office, living room.

Luckily the walls are light tan with white trim, so they have a slight (very) amount of style compared to white walls, white trim etc.

The main reason I want to win is to suprise my wife. I get to move in 4 days, but she has to stay where we live right now for another 2 months. I'm hoping if I can win, while she is gone I can set up the bedroom with our new bed we just ordered that is steel and matches the iron vine quite well, and the blik graphics creating something that will totally blow her socks off when she gets to come to the new place. Either that or use them in our new living room that has a corner fireplace and give it some real style. Either way it'll blow her socks off!

so these are my 2 blanks canvases, help me spruce them up with some blik!

1) Stratos Bacalis
2) - Fly
- Bamboo
- Chandelier
3) I am an interior designer and would love to use these decals to freshen up my apartment now that I am finishing re-painting some of its rooms. I would use the Fly in my bedroom, to give it a sense of travelling to far away places like the birds. The Bamboo one would go teriffic with my living room/dining room decoration and style, which mixes earth tones and bold splashes of color in a minimal but welcoming style. Finally I would use Chandelier in my hallway, to up the glamour quotient of that space without overdoing it. It would fit perfectly with the bold blue/violet walls and white plaster trim and the arc leading to the rest of the rooms.

1. Kerry O'Leary

2. bamboo (tan), iron vines (midnite), chandelier (white)

3. i just bought my first home, a 1-br condo in Washington, DC, and am still putting my personal touches on it. I would use bamboo in my living room against my dark brown accent wall, possibly coming up from the baseboard surrounding our kitchen table area. the iron vines would look phenomenal in the black and white bathroom remodel we have planned for next year. we're retiling to vintage black and white on the floor and white subway tile on the walls, and the iron vines would be scatter throughout the white walls. i love the idea of a few of them spilling onto the ceiling. the chandelier would be a funky touch above out kitchen table and would match w/ the retro, kitschy pieces we have in our living space. the white would pop against the dark brown accent wall and would complement the white trim of the room.

1-bamboo kiwi
2-fly
3-iron vines
We just moved into our new construction home. I am looking forward to decorating. I feel that blik wall decals offer not only a form of decoration but reflect a sense of who one is.
I opted for white walls so that I could start with a blank canvas. I wanted to decorate my walls with bamboo as it brings the earth and longevity into my home. I want to decorate my sons room with fly. A symbol of beginning and his life is just taking flight. Iron vines simply because it makes me feel that life is complex yet beautiful.

NAME: Gina Hutchings
CHOICE OF DECALS: FLY 3 packs of SNOW
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: I need to re-energize a nook in my studio. Since it is located on the Chicago river, I have become friends with the seagulls and geese that soar past my windows, I think I want to break the barrier between the outside world and the inside. I want to mirror that feeling of soaring inside my space.

I fire my ceramic sculptures in a Japanese style wood kiln out in the country(me and my buddies manually throw wood into 2,000 degrees outdoor kiln for 4-6 days), and all of my current figures are stylized Japanese Geishas, I wanted to incorporate something Japanese in the room as well. I will be wallpapering the entire wall with Japanese newspapers, then washing it with a sky blue - medium blue watercolor consistency wash with some furniture stain to give it an antiqued look. I want to then apply the bird decals over the paper to give it a third layer of information. Lastly, for the brick wall on the left side, I will be installing a long recycled granite slab for drinking coffee and taking a break from the city life.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE ME? Prevent starvation of another artist in the world by helping enhance studio space to impress the collectors....and to have a warm cup of tea in these cold winter months.

SEE THE SPACE BEFORE---USE THAT IMAGINATION ALWAYS

Bamboo – kiwi
Fly – gray midnite
Iron vines - mint

We just moved to our new home in Las Vegas from Kansas. We love Threadless and Blik and would love to be able to make our home “ours” with the amazing designs you offer. Bamboo would go in our Asian style master bathroom. Fly would go in our office to help keep our imagination soaring and souls free. Iron Vines would go in our stairway as a beautiful offset to the plain colored walls.

1) Orlando
2) Bamboo, Fly, and Iron Vines
3) In typical SF style I have a very long hall way, makes it feel institutional, the combo of the Bamboo and Fly the length of the hall would "connect" the bedrooms to the rest of the apartment. As "struggling" med students, having something other than anatomy charts would, for lack of a better word, be awesome.

flock in midnight; chandelier in burgundy; iron vines in graphite

I just moved in with my brother and sister in law to go to school for about eighteen months, and I really want to make the room my own, even for the short time I'm going to be there. Plus, their living room is very clean but boring, and I'd love to spice it up for them with a very simple and non-overwhelming decal, which I'm sure they will love and appreciate. Of course, I'd love to decorate it my way and if they absolutely hate it, after I'm gone, they can remove it easily and forget I was ever living there!

2) I would like to have two of the flight and one bamboo. If icouldnt have two flights i would like one of the chandelier
3) I have moved into my first place by myself its above my work kind of like abfab but more american motorhome park. I live in the top of an Aframed building and it has alot of unused potential, as i am poor and lacking that fundemental feeling for design i thought the decals would be agreat thing to make one of the rooms more bearable.

Thank you for your consideration

1) Katie Anne Naylon

2) 2 Flocks, 1 Chandelier

3) After reading your other submissions, I decided I just had to try and win this thing. The first 15 stories of couples moving in together and getting married seemed par for the course, but the next 15 were unbearable. I had a boyfriend of two years up until this past Sunday (9/16.) Then he moved from Brooklyn to Washington D.C. for work and decided his "fresh start" meant he wanted to be single.

SINGLE. After TWO YEARS of me helping him deal with law school, passing the bar exam, navigating his negative unsupportive family--- he's decided to get a "fresh start."

Of course, I'm confused and hurt. But I've been doing the heavy lifting this whole relationship. I deserve the "fresh start!" I want the decals. I'm redecorating my entire tiny bedroom. I never want to sleep in a room that reminds me of this joker. I need to start over. I have Blik decals in my office. They're wonderful. I can't wait to put the flocks above my bed to signify my freedom.

Thanks. I feel better just having written this.

3) I just moved into a new apartment with the boyfriend and we don't have much money to decorate. We bought the essentials but our walls look completely bare! I'm working on my office at the moment, love love LOVE brocade home but their wall paper is just outrageously priced! I was VERY close to buying stencils and painting the iron vine like detailing onto my wall but then stumbled across this site. and boy am I glad I did. Definitely saved me HOURS of torture painting on those detailed designs myself. whew! I would love to add the iron vine and chandelier design in my office to complete the look that i have at the moment, white desk, white shelving, white bright framed posters, plan on accenting the room with bright flowery items...a real feminine look. love it! the birdies would go in my bedroom since i'm such a high flying dreamer!
