I just moved into my first place and while I love the beautiful dark hardwood floors, I am not digging the price of rugs (required by my landlord). This Flokati rug would be perfect for my living room space, which is currently empty as all my living room furniture is residing in my bedroom due to the rug-less state.

I would either use this in my living room (on top of the kinda depressing brownish-beige standard apartment carpet) or in the bedroom, so when I get out of bed it would be soft and welcoming on my feet.

In my living room half of my living bedroom. I have the most vile ugly tile floors and also am bummed with the price of rugs. I would do crunches and other floor work on it and let my dog snooze and roll around on it. Also I just had surgery on my dominant hand, and have an IV in my other arm, so the rug would make an excellent get well present :)

when i move into my new place i'm painting the walls a nice cool gray. my furniture is mostly white and espresso or black, and i plan to have some sweet white bed linens and sheer linen curtains. this would be the icing on my AT-inspired bedroom cake! a bedroom rug that ties it together and reminds me where the inspiration came from (AT made me a believer in the power of white interiors).

not to mention that i could cozy down on it with some hot tea, pillows, heavy blankets, and a good book to keep warm in our arctic boston winters ;)

I have a brand new, empty space. I just bought a 110" 50's couch with yellow, chartreuse and cobalt stripes over a cream base. That rug would be PERFECT! I promise to send pictures.

I have been wanting a Flokati rug for years! I would put it in the living room to make my place look so much more cozy!

I just moved to my first apartment all by myself and have very little money to furnish and have been lusting for a flokati rug for my living room, and this would be just fabulous.

I'd put it in my stepdaughter's bedroom to warm up the wood floors. We've been renovating the bedrooms and bath since we bought our house (we have yet to move in) and she hates going over there, which breaks my heart. I really want her to love her room and I think this would help.

I'm about to move into my first place, complete with cold, desolate hardwood floors. I'd put it in my bedroom, lie down on the floor and imagine that I'm napping on a giant polar bear..!

I'd keep it in my bedroom. I could dig my toes into that as I get dressed in the morning. That would feel so heavenly!

I would use this in my covered patio next to the fireplace to curl up in during those cold chicago summer nights, while enjoying a bottle of wine and listening to the crackles of the fire. A nice cozy flokati rug would be the perfect addition.

Instead I'll put it in my loungey area in my studio apt. Then I'll break out my light up, electric fireplace logs. A real flokati rug and a fake fire is a perfect balance!!!

I would love to sink my toes in to this Flokati rug. What a great respite it would be from the cold hard tile that prevades my home.

We closed on our first home two weeks ago. The floors have been redone in pure, light oak and the accent wall in the living room is benjamin moore dill pickle. This is just the rug we're looking for to complement the ocean colored mitchell gold baxter couch and the funky floral design of the MG winslow chair...and a modern coffee table a la bklyn designs. Divine apartment bliss.

I just moved into a converted garage with acid-stained concrete floors - beautiful, huge space, practically a studio apartmeny, but it's so COLD! A big fluffy white flokati would, you know, really tie the room together, man.

I would use it in my livingroom to cover up the piece of s**t that is out there now.

ooh! i live in the southwest, and i've just signed a lease for a place in the northeast -- starting graduate school and will be in the cold for the foreseeable future. grad stipends do not equal extra money for fancy rugs, but grad school means hours and hours spent reading and writing at home. i would arrange this in my living room so that my toes could enjoy the rug while sitting at my desk!

This rug is going right upstairs into our new family room/studio/guest room. Don't we all have a multi-purpose room in our homes? The room was just painted and needs rugs, furniture, you name it, asap!

There's a large space between my bed and bedroom closet where I sleepily try to dress myself each morning and avoid walking out of the apartment wearing two different shoes. I would love to place the rug there, so that I would actually look forward to waking up, sinking my toes into it and perhaps ease into the morning routine in a happier way.

a rug salesman once tried to sell me a, admittedly very soft, rug, which he referred to as the "baby making rug", for 90% of its $60,000 market price. I think I would rather settle for the Flokati.

My parents bought some of these when we lived overseas (I am an Army Brat) and I loved them! My new place has all linoleum floors and I would L-O-V-E to put this in my bedroom so that I don't have to step on a cold floor every morning!!!

I've been wanting to put a decorative small area rug on top of my full-room carpet as a means of adding some nice decoration. Winning here would enable me to do this.

It would go in my study, in front of the glass and chrome table and my Room&Board Jasper sofa. It would be the perfect spot to stand, kneel or lay while choosing a book from the adjacent book case.

i have a dark brown wood modern poster bed. i plan on draping the flokati over the headboard to give the bed a new hot look. when i get tired of that i can use the flokati as an accent throw over my bedspread.
