I just moved into my first place and while I love the beautiful dark hardwood floors, I am not digging the price of rugs (required by my landlord). This Flokati rug would be perfect for my living room space, which is currently empty as all my living room furniture is residing in my bedroom due to the rug-less state.

The contest begins today and ends on Monday, March 10th, at NOON ET.

Do you mean June?

I would either use this in my living room (on top of the kinda depressing brownish-beige standard apartment carpet) or in the bedroom, so when I get out of bed it would be soft and welcoming on my feet.

i love the word 'flotaki' too. :)

In my living room half of my living bedroom. I have the most vile ugly tile floors and also am bummed with the price of rugs. I would do crunches and other floor work on it and let my dog snooze and roll around on it. Also I just had surgery on my dominant hand, and have an IV in my other arm, so the rug would make an excellent get well present :)

when i move into my new place i'm painting the walls a nice cool gray. my furniture is mostly white and espresso or black, and i plan to have some sweet white bed linens and sheer linen curtains. this would be the icing on my AT-inspired bedroom cake! a bedroom rug that ties it together and reminds me where the inspiration came from (AT made me a believer in the power of white interiors).

not to mention that i could cozy down on it with some hot tea, pillows, heavy blankets, and a good book to keep warm in our arctic boston winters ;)

Ah.... I can already image how great the rest of my day would be!
And then, after a hard, long day, the last thing my feet step onto is, again, the heaven-like softness of this rug.
Sweet dreams...

Wish AT would pick me so I can stop dreaming. I'm at work with full allergy working on me with a busy schedule ahead.

Oh please! I just graduated grad school, am up to my eyebrows in student debt, and am living in a small, less than 300 sq foot apartment. It's dark, but quaint and lovely. I love living small, but my hardwood floors (though I love them) darken the place. A warm, fantastic flokati rug would be fabulously perfect. And I promise to enter the small apartment contest next year, once all my (now much lesser, since it's a smaller apartment) belongings are out of boxes. Or I could just send photos of the rug's place in my apartment... maybe before and after photos? I can't believe I'm groveling.... it would just look SO fantastic!

This would be great for those cold, cold Ohio nights near Lake Erie. It can get frigid. Who am I kidding though, I'd want it even if I was in Florida. It's so pretty.

It would be fabulous to relax in front of the fire on this rug with my hubby!

I'd use this rug as an accent piece to complement my "new" Danish modern table and my roommate's gold/heather blue tweed couch. We'd put the rug by the fireplace, most definitely.

My husband and I recently bought our home and furnished the living room with a contemporary rich dark chocolate leather couch. We then designed and developed our own hollow coffee table that holds smooth white beach pebbles and semi-precious stones under a round glass table. I think we have our seating arrangements all figured out but our two dogs, Maya and Marco, and foster dog Reba are ready for some luxurious pampering themselves. I've found my dogs constantly going to the carpeted staircase and laying there when they want to sleep or relax. I would use this rug for the winter time right under the couch and the coffee table so that our dogs can lay on it right next to our warm feet and relax with us in the evenings when we all get to see each other.

Just moved, don't have rugs yet... I would put it in the living room in front of the tv area so that I can feel it with my bare feet while I watch my favorite shows!

I would put this in my baby's room where shoes aren't allowed! I love the idea of her playing on such a fluffy survace, and I've seen it used this way before in some of house tours.

I'm actually looking for one to put on the back of my grey sectional sofa as a throw. I'm also making big art pieces for my wall on white canvas with grey and dark magenta paints. Its funny how I ran into this giveaway, its pretty weird to find something exactly you need in a giveaway. Winning would actually freak me out !!!
