Value and Size: $513
Description: Our friends at Rugs USA tell us that Flokati rugs have been a Greek tradition for centuries. The 5th century Vlachs invented the Flokati Rug. I just moved into my first place and while I love the beautiful dark hardwood floors, I am not digging the price of rugs (required by my landlord). This Flokati rug would be perfect for my living room space, which is currently empty as all my living room furniture is residing in my bedroom due to the rug-less state.
The contest begins today and ends on Monday, March 10th, at NOON ET.
Do you mean June?

I would either use this in my living room (on top of the kinda depressing brownish-beige standard apartment carpet) or in the bedroom, so when I get out of bed it would be soft and welcoming on my feet.

In my living room half of my living bedroom. I have the most vile ugly tile floors and also am bummed with the price of rugs. I would do crunches and other floor work on it and let my dog snooze and roll around on it. Also I just had surgery on my dominant hand, and have an IV in my other arm, so the rug would make an excellent get well present :)

when i move into my new place i'm painting the walls a nice cool gray. my furniture is mostly white and espresso or black, and i plan to have some sweet white bed linens and sheer linen curtains. this would be the icing on my AT-inspired bedroom cake! a bedroom rug that ties it together and reminds me where the inspiration came from (AT made me a believer in the power of white interiors).
not to mention that i could cozy down on it with some hot tea, pillows, heavy blankets, and a good book to keep warm in our arctic boston winters ;)

I'd put in in my bedroom, so when I wake up and put my feet on the floor, I won't be chilled by the cold (but beatuiful) hardwood floor. Instead, I'd have step into and feel the heaven-like softness of this rug!
Ah.... I can already image how great the rest of my day would be!
And then, after a hard, long day, the last thing my feet step onto is, again, the heaven-like softness of this rug.
Sweet dreams...
Wish AT would pick me so I can stop dreaming. I'm at work with full allergy working on me with a busy schedule ahead.
If I had this rug, I'd bring it with me to work, just so I have wrap it around me while I sit in my little cubicle in front of my computer, and maybe, start dreaming again.

I'd put it in my bedroom so I had a warm place to put my feet when I get out of bed!

I've always wanted one of these by my bed so that it would be the 1st thing my tootsies would feel in the morning! Great giveaway, thanks!

we finished our spare room and it would be perfect in there.
My husband wants one of these rugs terribly and I have been on the look out for one. And now- here it is! We even got the mini sheep throw at ikea to make do- it doesn't.

This would be a lovely addition to the guest room that we are in the middle of creating, now that our daughter has moved into her own apartment.

I would squish my toes in it fresh from the bed -- of course!

I would put it in front of my fireplace for a nice romantic evening!

It would either go in our living room where our 2 y/o can do puzzles with us on its cozy softness, or in her room where she can snuggle up to read books or play with her animals. What a great giveaway!! Cheers!

this would be a great replacement for the four sheep I have hanging out at the foot of my bed...

I am moving in about a month, and this would go so well in my new living room!! I think the cat that I am going to get would love to roll around in it too. I promise to keep it clean and kitty-hair free.

cool... would use it in our loft to make a nice little sitting nook possibly, but better yet take it with us on our next camping trip and try it out in the tent!

Perfect foot snuggly rug, or great for the kids to lay on with their back rests to watch movies
view mkboldin's profile
I can't decide. Do I put it in the baby's room so they have something soft and cuddly to play on or in the living room in front of the fireplace?

I would put this gorgeous Flokati rug in my den so I could lie on it and scrunch my toes into it while I read or play with my dog.

I want! My dog is obsessed with these rugs - I would put it in the living room so she could alternate between lolling around in her dog bed and snuggling with the rug. Tough life.

I would put this in my living room.. hardwood floors are beautiful but mean very chilly winters for my tootsies!

Lay it down in front of the fireplace, sit down in a chromed armchair with a pipe and a copy of Playboy, and pretend it's the 70's all over again.

Oh, I have the perfect spot in my study for this beautiful cozy rug!
view mrshendu's profile
I'd put it in my bedroom for a cozy place for my feet when I wake up in the morning (instead of the bare hardwood!) and a soft place for the kitties to sleep (instead of on top of my head!)

pick me! pick me! my grandmother had a flokati rug and i remember being amazed by it and playing with it and everything that got caught in it.

I would put it is the sitting area of my bedroom with over stuffed pillows
