apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Thursday Giveaway: The Shower Bow

Congratulations to Doug, who won last week's giveaway, Over 400 Pop Music CD's.

4-17-sower.jpgItem: The Shower Bow
Retail Price: $30

Description: The fellow who invented The Bow (as we like to call it), Patrick, has a missionary zeal for his new product, which promises to give you more room in your shower without taking up more room in your bathroom. Better and cheaper than installing a curved rod, he says, The Bow is a practical solution to crowding shower curtains regardless of curtain rod length, curtain or tub size.

We like the Naked Cowboy Video and we're hoping that whoever wins this will send us their own video as they test drive it in their own home...

OMG I have this! I LOVE it! I really wanted a curved shower rod, but couldn't install it in my rental. The weight thing at the top looks a little risque, but it works wonderfully. Totally keeps the shower curtain from sticking to you, which I hate.

I keep the bathroom door open when I shower, so the curtain is always blowing in on me (ick). This seems like it might do the trick...

Brilliant design...I've got a special 'flapped" curtain, which helps the blow-in cling, but this very cool. Love it and want one...

It's an interesting product but whether prevention of shower curtain billowing is worth $30 is another question. Sufficiently wetting my shower curtain when I first step into the shower seems to stop the billowing.

Why the NY resident restriction? :(

My tub/shower combination is small that if it ever needs to be replaced I don't know what I am going to do since I don't think they make them this small any longer. The curtain is always sticking to me and I hate that. This might just be the solution to my small bathroom problem.
