Good eye. We google like hell all day long looking for images for posts and find wild stuff. Occasionally we find beautiful things. Yesterday we used this photograph in a post and a reader wrote in asking where it was from. The answer is, England, and the price is 42 pounds. It is called the Bedside Buddy.
Adrian Sankey is a glass blower in the Lake District of England (www.glassmakers.co.uk), who fashions somewhat baroque and curving vases, glasses, lighting, bowls and plates. Sankey uses deep colors in the glass and we found the glass and decanter to one of the simplest and most attractive pieces on the site.
