On a recent visit we spied a Hudson Bay trading blanket and the deteriorating shell of a Saarinen womb chair (second photo in link), ready to be re-foamed and re-upholstered. The prices are reasonable (for New York City) and frequent visits are encouraged if you don't want to miss anything.
