Weck Jars at Heath Ceramics

We've seen Weck jars over at The Kitchn, but we can see using them elsewhere in the home, too. These slightly tapered Weck jars from Heath Ceramics are beautiful, inexpensive, and practical for small storage at home...

Each of this style of Weck jar comes with a loose, flat lid and a rubber gasket that are held on by metal clamps. That's the whole family pictured up top. We want to use these in the kitchen, bathroom, and office. Prices range from $2 to $6 each at Heath Ceramics. Also available are extra metal clamps and rubber gaskets.

Clamp-lid glass jars are so useful and are much better than the boxes and bags of opened rice/pasta/beans in the cupboards...

Oh gosh!
My German Mother in law makes jelly in these and I love them. I use them as an alternative to tupperware. They are fantastic.
