Hello AT,
I just love this sofa chair but can't remember where I have seen it. Can somebody please tell me who the designer is or which brand it is?
Thanks! Roma

Ligne Roset. It starts with an S-- Saki? I think.

No, sorry, it looks like it may be
Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec's quilted Facett seating.

I'm pretty sure that ligne-roset actually has a NYC presence somewhere.

You're right, Curtis, ligne roset has a NYC presence at Wooster Street and on Park Avenue South.

Now, when you say Ligne-Roset has a "presence" in New York, do you mean a "store"?

Definitely Ligne Roset....their quality is awesome ....

I think "presence" is a euphemism for "there's a store that carries a lot of their stuff, but I can't remember if it's a purely Ligne-Roset boutique or some other shop that just carries a lot of Ligne-Roset."

That's right, Wende. But what I meant is that they have two stores - (drat! shouldn't have used Curtis' term). Just click on the link I put above to see them. Once you find the one on Park Ave. South, click on the storefront photo to see other photos of the inside of the store.

It looks like classic car upholstery. Something you would see on a '57 corvette.

There is a Ligne Roset store on Park Ave @ 20th St in Manhattan.

There's frequently an ad in Dwell magazine for Ligne Roset that features this chair. That may be where you've seen it...
