Good Question: Attention all train (or table) spotters

2005_1_3_question mark.jpgHello AT,

Enclosed is a jpeg with a small bedside table that I really like, however, I have no idea who makes it and where to get it. Do you by any chance know? Thank you Boris

P.S. The jpeg is from The company store website, (they don't know either, its a prop), same table appeared in Domino magazine (pg.78) and they don't know as well (hello?). Thanks again.

Brother and sister therapists: Any advice for B?

It looks like the max bill stool frm vitra.

It looks like the wine crate I use as a nightstand.

That bed is from IKEA. I wonder if the nightstand is too.

I agree with Joey. The bed looks like the HOPEN bed from Ikea. Check out their website http://www.ikea.com/ and search under beds.

something very close to the table, the gansu collection from room and board. look up roomandboard.com and then type in gansu in the upper right corner under search. you'll find your (great) little table for about 230 bucks.

Remember the thread that went nightstand-crazy?

www.apartmenttherapy.com/main/archives/002749.html

There are a bazillion links to different nightstands there, so I'm reposting the link here. I doubt it has the precise solution to Boris's quandary, but there were so many great nightstands linked that he might find something equally lovely.

I know this isn't the table, but the woodwork evoked it a bit, I thought. But I agree with Tim- it looks like Room and Board's table to me.

Definitely not the same thing, but a viable option, from The Company Store--

Or, Garnet Hill's own trapezoidal version...

This is the closest I've found but I know I've seen that exact table somewhere before as well. Hope this helps.

The design reminds me of those long tables inside Apple's retail stores. I'd sure like to get some of those.. the right height, plus that hidden track for cable management.

See how lots of people are looking for, and can't find anywhere, a simple table?

Those prices at Atlantico don't seem so silly any more, do they?

A student at an art school with a wood/furniture program (Parsons, RISD, etc...) or even a weekend hobbyist with access to some basic tools can reproduce that table for cheap. Three pieces of wood, finger jointed at the top. Hell, I'd do it for the cost of wood + tiny amount for labor but I'm all the way here in California.

That whole "get an art student to do it" is a lot easier on paper than it is in reality.

And, age, if you're price is so low, then the shipping cost from CA shouldn't be an issue!

arghh.. *your* price

David Brunicardi makes it.

It took me ages to find this table and track it down but I couldn't resist the challenge. Here it is... Check here:

Sadly it is in the retired products list.
