Today... a tough one:
My girlfriend and I are about two feet short in the bedroom-closet-space department, and, conveniently, we have a space about two feet wide in which to put a piece of bedroom furniture. Alas, no luck whatsoever in finding a clean, elegant, narrow armoire (24 inches at widest point). Sure, I could rig something, but we'd rather have a nice piece.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Peter

IKEA has a metal locker called PS Cabinet that's 24 across and 48" in height. here is a picture of the other model they carry; picture it vertical instead. I think they're discontinuing it. I just bought the one pictured here in bright red and it's very sturdy and lovely to look at

The elizabeth ikea has a few of the tall versions left in grey and you may be able to order it in white
Happy to hear that closet space is all you are short on in the bedroom. Ligne Roset has a hall unit called Travel. It is the sort of thing you would put in you hallway to hang coats but it is quite simple and has a bar for hanging clothing. Hope that helps.
If you're up for open storage, try Pottery Barn Teen's (pbteen.com)
Coastal Tower, measuring in at 22 x 14.5 x 64.5" h.:

or run IKEA's Lack shelving unit vertically:

or, also from IKEA,
Markor:

or Alve, which I believe can be fit with doors:

and finally, I'm a big fan of IKEA's
Magiker line, which can also be fit with doors:

Good luck!
One additional Pottery Barn Teen contender:
Locker Tower

If you like that gym locker vibe, The Terence Conran Shop also has an all-galvanized locker tower, but could not find a link. But did find their Wave wardrobe:

Some other IKEA possibilities:
Kajak Storage Unit (mirroed on one side, with swivel base allowing you to access storage, which, bedside, could also double as a night stand. 15-3/4" W & D x 72" H
or the more traditional Leksvik Linen Cabinet
(21-5/8" w x 24-3/8 d x 72-7/8 H). Also has mirror on the front (but just a panel), and an overall antique stained/lacquered wood finish.
Try bedroom-furniture-direct.com/prods/Magnussen-Furniture. Theere are three armoires that are slim, but none as small as 24 inches (28 to 32 inches). The ones I found are much higher quality than Ikea and the prices reflect their elegance (around a thousand dollars). If you are interested, the 32" is called Harlow, the 30" is called Havana, and the 28" is called Mojave. Good luck!
Can not find Anna. Nor can i find the slipcovers for the Tullsta armchair--ALME--400.383.03
Help, please.
