Hello AT,
Can someone tell me where to get the wallpaper featured in this pic from the NYTimes House and Home yesterday? I'd love to hear thoughts on other similar papers...I am looking for something with bursts of color (a coral/orange color or accent is what I'm thinking) I also love the idea of nature in the scene. Birds, trees...etc. Any thoughts?
Thanks! Jaime

Dear Jaime,
We WISH we knew where that wallpaper came from, but we guess that is is new and does have a source. Here is a link to our best sources for this type of wallpaper.
And this from Aaron:
Jaime,
From the article, we knew that the room in question belonged to an editor at Domino. We went to the website and there it was on the front page! Unfortunately they say:
These photos come from the domino archives, so many of the products you see are no longer available.
Thanks a lot Domino! Back to square one. There are tons of woodland/floral motif papers right now. There is the understated but oh-so-popular Woods from Cole & Son and we would recommend looking at these sites too:
• Ferm Living
• Mibo
• Twenty2
Anyone else?

Wow, looks like the Department of Redunancy Department, because there's two postings of this same Good Question!
I think it is a fabric from Clarence house called "Quince." Not positive of the name but I almost did a chair in it a couple of years ago.
I also think it is from Clarence House. All their stuff is great but so expensive!! Unfortunately it is no longer pictured on their website.
The woman of this house is the style director for Domino Magazine. Try writing her.
It's the same wallpaper they have at Stanton Social.
Have not been to Stanton Social, but looking at their website, it is not the same paper.
Must be a really really good question to get posted twice!
walnutwallpaper.com - blackbird (there's a great shot of it in their gallery secton)- my current favorite that has pushed ahead of "Woods" on my list.

I don't know where the wallpaper in the photo is from, but check out www.creativewallcovering.com. They have loads of bold modern papers.
I just the entry area of my condo in a "Winter Trees in Silhouette" paper from them (click on my name for the link). Be sure to click on the "view in a room" link because it's very dramatic and modern looking in the scene.
It's a little more subtle than yous but so far everyone has been loved it. Of course once it was on the walls, then I had to remodel the tiny bathroom the opens off that wall. One thing leads to another...
loved the wallpaper; the article is another discussion.

OK. tell us about NOW.
The "paper" is actually the Clarence House fabric, that was mentioned earlier. While most of the Clarence Hose fabrics, this particular one is preety reasonable. It is available from any of the Clarence House dealers around the country. You will need to buy the fabric then send it to be paper backed (the showroom may be able to help you find a place to do this for you).
A company that I have gown to love id Printworks out of New York, they have some cool stuff you may want to check out www.studioprintworks.com
What about removing wall paper once you tire of it? I know it's gotten easier since the last time wall paper was really trendy,
but don't have specifics on particular products that make the
paper easier to get off when you want a change or are ready to
move/sell. Any one have details?
The pattern is called "Flowering Quince." It was featured in the July/Aug 2005 Country Home magazine and it was a feature on Wallpaper Panels so at least once upon a time it was wallpaper ... I saved the article in my idea binder because of the cool DIY instructions and recognized it in the NYTimes Thursday morning. Hope this helps!
Hi-
It's my fault we don't have the credit on the domino website. Sorry...
But people are right, it's Eley Kishimoto for Clarence House. The pattern is called Flowering Quince and the Style # is 6847.
