Hello AT,
I have a chair that is similar to this chair but has caning in the back of the chair. Do any savvy AT readers know how to replace caning with material.....I would like to do this myself.
Thanks AT, Heather

There are lots of how to books on caning if you really want to do it yourself. You can order the supplies online from a number of caning supply companies. If the back of the chair has little holes around the caning, woven in, it will be a bit more complicated and you may want to have it done professionally. But if instead there is only the ditch in which the caning has been secured with a pounded in wood or rubber cord, it is not that complicated.
Heather,
I love this chair, can you tell me where you got the image from?
Danae- I actually found the chair on the AT Chicago site. Thanks for the info!
