Hello AT,
I am considering buying a CB2 Standard sofa but have never sat in it. Has anyone? And would you recommend it? At $999, the price is very good, but I want to know if the quality and the comfort are all in.
Thanks, Lee

I have a CB2 standard sofa and I really like it. It's durable and comfortable...however, it's not super deep, so my boyfriend and I have to get creative when we both want to lie on it and watch TV.
I tested it out in the store this weekend. Both the sofa and the chair were very comfortable (I particularly liked the chair). It's a lovely shade of gray.
When getting a large sofa, you should always get one with 3 cushions. Even though it's large and has two cushions, you can only fit 2 people on it because no one wants to sit in the crack in the middle.
I just ordered their Elevation coffee table. Looking at the picture, I was a bit unsure of the quality--would it be glorified Ikea? When it was delivered Thursday ("white glove" service, no less), I was quite impressed. Real wood, high quality, looks fab. I'd take the risk with a sofa.
I've been looking at a few of the sofas at CB2. I liked this one and the ZOOM for comfortability. The rest in the store on Lincoln weren't as comfy.
I agree with the earlier persons comments that it isn't as deep as most couches. I wouldn't say it's shallow but it's just not as deep as my current couch.
I ended up ordering a Thayer Coggin Modern Addiction sofa from Rico in Brooklyn. It has a similar look to the CB2 but is higher quality and is more pricey.
