Hello AT,
Has anyone used CLOSITS (.com), sold direct and through Target among others?
They look great on the website.
Thanks, Susan
We have not used it or seen it until now. Here is the dope:
Closits come in white and maple and are 9 different interchangeable, interlocking pieces that can be arranged in convenient layouts to give your closet a built-in look....Designed in collaboration with home fashion guru Lynette Jennings.
We admit to being skeptical and would like to be proved wrong. Has anyone used this?? (Thanks, Susan!) MGR

We thought the Closits looked like a great solution for our closets, but we brought them home and our entire space was stinking of formaldehyde and woodglue chemicals. We didn't even realize we had chemical sensitivities until we acquired them. Fortunately we were able to return them. I wouldn't recommend for a small space, though you can check out their specs and built them yourself out of solid wood, which is what we did.
Ewww the formaldehyde... thx for sharing. Do you live in NYC? If so, can you email me with who you used to build your closets? tarabolli at yahoo.com. thx.
I have a 59" wide closet in was is my nursery and I filled the closet with "closits" It is absolutly wonderful. And in the beginning, there was a little smell, but definetly not anymore. I am equipping 2 more closets in my home with "closits" Sauder is also an excellent company to deal with, when I opened a box and there was a defected material, it was no problem at all for them to ship me a replacement.
I am enjoying the closit syetem, it works very well in my home. I have had it for more than a year. I compared it to the other system and they were thousands of dollars. The closit system is reasonable and we are getting ready to order another one.
All the particle board furniture smells like chemicals when it comes out of the box. The company I work for Speedy Closets doesn't use particle board. These systems are made of MDF on a wood frame.
