Good Questions: Comfy Reading Chairs?

2004_7_question mark.jpgDear AT,

I'm looking for the perfect chair to read my toddler a story in. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Corey

What a sweet question. The question is, is the chair for Corey or the toddler or both at once? Our guess is the latter: a comfy chair that can hold both at once with a good light for reading by. Here are our recent favorite reading chairs. (Thanks, Corey!) MGR

That rocker is crazy. I have twins - and i just might consider it - but wacky, wacky, wacky. I love it.

Just curious about your fabric choices, why not leather for the first one? Why Microfiber for the Manhattan?

micro-fiber is a great choice for heavy duty wear. It's stain resisitent and water soluble cleaners do well on it. I removed an inkstain from a microfiber chair and it came up quite well with just soap and water.

Hi!
I am in need of a beautiful chair for my bedroom. I have a corner for it, so it cannot be too large nor too small as I am 5'8" tall. I love the idea of a pink or cream mohair blend. Texture would do this br some good. I say blend as I want beauty & comfort in a reading chair. Would armless be better? I think a room should have an armchair in it of some sort. I live near LA. Thank you!

The armchair for reading track has not been updated since 2004, and that was for reading with a child. I thank you for any suggestions for a chair to purchase, under $500.00.

Look at www.huggmee.com
It is a reading chair that fits nicely into corners and is super comfortable. I do my writing and reading in one. I get back support and arm and elbow support all the time. I move it into a corner so I can lean my head back against the wall when I want to.
