I'm not familiar with SlotFurniture, but if you like their designs you should look at www.greendesigns.com.
It is always possible to contact a 3rd party shipper who will accept delivery in the UK then ship it to the U.S., dealing with customs, etc. The only drawback is that most of these companies only do curbside delivery, and unless you're willing to do air freight, it can take weeks to months for delivery.
