Hello AT,
This is AT asking a question of its own readers. We have some really lovely office chairs that are great as side chairs, but not for working in all day (no, we're not getting rid of them). What we want is a nice rolling chair for working in that is not as major or as expensive as an Aeron or a LEAP. Something comfortable that would really be a side chair most of the time.
We like the Pamplona Chair from Conran which is leather and not too big, but it's pricey at $890. Anyone have a good recommendation?
Thanks, Maxwell

How about the Get Set from All Steel. I'm not sure hopw expensive it is, but it's great for a side chair and aa task chair.

yeah, it's ikea, but it's one the most comfortable chairs i've ever used.
I love my orange ikea chair. Only $20. Buy different colors.

...also the Jules chair from IKEA. around $40.
more pricey, but how about Modernica's fiberglass side chair. not sure if it swivels, though and/or rolls.
I have an IKEA Snille chair, as posted by RB, and it is great except for one thing. The rollers suck. They are far from smooth. That's what you get for $20
This is a company that sells really good knock-offs at good prices. It's pricier than the IKEA suggestions (but who wouldn't be) but definitely worth checking out. And not just for office chairs.

I haven't sat in it but the Herman Miller Caper chair ($199 at DWR) is possibly comfortable.
Where is that laptop sleeve/holder from??
Thanks folks, those are good suggestions. I wish someone had found some more that weren't from Ikea though. Some middle price suggestions, maybe??
And as for the laptop sleeve, Alice, that's a Shoreline. You can find them HERE.
Assuming you want wheels...
Perhaps the Maui, from Topdeq?

I have the Studio Office Chair in my home office and love it. It's comfortable and provides good support.
West Elm has a great looking chocolate leather office chair for $219, but not having a store near me, I can't comment on the quality. If anyone has one of these or has een one in person, do tell.

Try the Capsico by HÅG. Not cheap, but quite possibly the most comfortable chair ever.

Just awesome! Thanks all. It's amazing how when you have a question yourself, your imagination just fails you.
I bought an Arne Jacobsen leather egg chair from Beyond Designers and it was not only great exactly as the original but it was a very good price and just in time. This Argentine furniture store is awesome! Check it out!
