Hello AT,
I need your help desperately... I am at a loss.
I am trying to find a nice comfortable mid size sofa with arms to coordinate with this chair.
Can you recommend any vendors?
Thanks, Shana

you may want to check out vesta home (www.vestahome.com). they are a little pricey depending on your budget, but they make a lot of beautiful furniture that would go perfectly with that chair. enjoy!
I think any boxy/tailored sofa with either matching wood legs, or skirted so no wood leg shows at all, would work with these chairs.
What's been the obstacle to finding a sofa you like so far?
(But I agree with all Maxwell's pick pics)
http://barclaybutera.com/ The Beverly Sofa or The Doheny Sofa?
Does anyone know how much the Clifton from MGBW runs?
Donghia, Panama sofa.
I immediately thought Room and Board. The chair just has that look. But have you also looked at Williams Sonoma Home (wshome.com)? Their Wilshire sofa might go well, and it has many options available. Their quality is very good.
Just for ideas, you might look at Barbara Barry's designs for Baker. One of her chairs has a similar look to yours.
I'm actually considering buying that chair to go with the zen sofa in beige from bo concept, I have a link in my name. Do you have any opinions, do you think it will look good, or any other suggestions...
Thanks
Tat--
You have expensive taste.
But Shana wanted arms.
I'm still waiting to hear from Shana what the challenge was in finding a sofa she liked...
I agree: Room and Board. So many styles that would complement the chair. Very nice selection of fabrics as well.
P(2): if you'd look at the description, the full line consist of arm- as well as armless chairs and sofas...
As to my taste- alas!!!
Tat--
Whoops, did not see that. I stand (sit?) corrected!
Owning a Donghia chair before I pass from the earth is one of my silly life goals. But I recently checked "acquire a Herb Ritts" off the list, so maybe this is an omen to start Donghia-shopping!
What about this from Target? Very affordable and similar color scheme.

Chris, the chair Shana posted looks lower and wider than a dining chair; a classic "side" one.
But you're right, W's chairs are similar.
I vote for the Clifton, by MGBW-

I notice, from the next thread, that these chairs are used in the dining room of the W Hotel (second image to rotate in at top).-

I've had good luck with Silva Custom Furniture. I have the Pronto Sofa and I love it. http://www.silva4home.com/pronto_sofa.shtml
Thanks all for your excellent input.
patrick (the other one, To be quite honest I just didn't know where to start looking for a sofa, and I am truly indecisive so that didn't help either.
