I just had my foyer wallpapered and went thru this same search. I can recommend two people:

- John Fasano, tel 917.709.4747. He does a lot of work for the designer Eric Cohler, and he did a great job on my foyer.

- Sarah Merenda, tel 646.431.2472. She was recommended to me by the D&D. More expensive than John, but she seemed very knowledgeable and professional.

Also, if you haven't ordered the paper yet, you may want to ask the installer how much to order. I failed to account for enough scrap and had to order more.

I called John Fasano on this recommendation and he and his partner were great! They were dependable, timely, and did fantastic work. Also helped with figuring out how much paper to order and how best to prep the wall.

Using this thread as a reference I got in touch with John Fasano and he did a great job installing some Cole & Son wallpaper in my bedroom. He and his partner, Stacy, were fast, clean, and worth every penny.
