Good Questions: Great Parsons, But Less Long?

Hello AT,

I've been searching for a desk to fit in our bedroom for some time now and love the look of West Elm's Parsons Desk (in white). However, it's a bit large at 48" in length. I'm hoping someone might know where I could find something similar and smaller, say closer to 36" long?? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Room & Board does Parsons tables in custom sizes.

or it'd be pretty simple to just find a carpenter to shorten it for you...

Check out the Lack tables at Ikea. They have one that is the same height and shape. I'm not sure of length.

The Door Store also does fairly inexpensive custom Parsons tables. I had one made in white lacquer, 33" x 33" to fit a small corner dining spae, and it's great.
