Good Questions: Help Me Find Upholstered Chair in Plastic?

9-13-question.jpgHello AT,

I'm sorry to bother you, but I've search the site with every possible word combo I could come up with and can't find it anywhere. I remember a post with a chair. It looked like a upholstered dining chair, but was plastic. Would you happen to know how I could find that post?

Thanks much, Jenica

Dear Jenica,

We like this question, even though it's a little vague, and want to see if someone more quick witted than us today can come up with your answer. Please see if you can give us more info, but we'll try to decode the answer...

Our guess: the Louis Ghost Chair from Philippe Starck also popped up here: Good Questions: Where Can I Find These Chairs?.

Anyone else??

or do you mean the one that was covered in blue rubber -- can't think of the name of it right now...

I think it was a "Hot or Not?".

I remember it being vaguely Louis-esque, but all in white, with (perhaps?) an inflatable seat? Or did I start daily cocktails WAY too early?

Was it a flourescent color? There was one that was featured in the NY times Homes Section.

Wait, I remember which one you're talking about but I can't remember where I saw it. It was a regular chair frame and only the upholstery part was vinyl - the picture depicted a white or clear vinyl. Hmmm.

No worries. Since Jesse solved this mystery, I could use help with another one....

I'm looking for an end table, walnut-ish in color, bentwood in the shape of gothic arches. I saw it maybe six months ago.

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

Doug: It wasn't this, was it?

Nope, but thanks for trying. It was formed by very thin pieces of wood bent and paired together to form pointed arches, reminiscent of the shape of a tall gothic church window. Although the wood was stained fairly dark, as in your link, the effect was not as dense, and the table didn't look weighty at all, creating a very clean design. I've just now found a great chair I love which would go with it. Now I can't find the table! I'm going to go check designsponge. It looks like something they might have over there.

Thanks again.
