Good Questions: Macy's Chair Origin?

5-23--chair-questions.jpgHello AT,

This chair was featured in a Macy*s advertisement. I believe it's bent ply with a zebrawood veneer.

Does anyone know who designed this? Or where I could find one?

Thank you, Eren

Looks like the Offi Perch chair to me, except that I have not seen it in the zebrawood veneer as of yet. Perhaps it's new.

It's actually a chair designed by Sebastien Berge called SLOT. Not sure where to find it for sale though. It was designed in 2000

Ooops, I meant Sebastien Bergne, not Berge.

Indeed, I designed it for an italian company called Varaschin. http://www.varaschin.it/ you will find it under the section sitting groups. They have a contact email that may be able to connect you to a local supplier.
