Good Questions: Real Simple Table Tips?

3-16-realsimple.jpgHello AT,

We are moving and I'm in love with the table in this Real Simple feature.

I was hoping to find something similar, but much less expensive. Any help?

Thanks! Anastasia

Ikea has a similar one, also try CB2. Good luck!

I was using an IKEA table top and metal legs as a desk that looks very similar to what you're showing above.

Click on my name and look at the table tops and legs.

Try EQ3. They have some great/cheap tables with metal legs. You can pick the size and wood finish...

That is a great table. What I like about it is that the legs are inset from the edges. Are you able to do that with the IKEA tables & legs?

Does anyone have an idea of who made the rug under the table or where I might find a similar one?

I know, the rug, the RUG! I'm in love with it.

The West Elm one looks darker...

Must find rug...

Ok, just call me OCD, but I think the above rug looks more like some of the Gabbeh rugs found in oriental rug stores. It has that two tone sheen and pile:

(You can most probably find a better price than the above)

Cari-

I just looked at the E3 website and really like the Dandy tables-but I don't see prices. Do you know how much they run?? Thanks!

The chairs! I've been wanting these chairs for so long! They are the "Martine" dining chairs from Restration Hardware, and around $450 each. Anyone know of some less expensive but similar chairs?

DC Sarah-

Depending on which size top you choose, it runs between $250 and $450. I have the cocktail table of this as my coffee table and the finishes they use are really beautiful... very rich and shiny. I have the dark espresso finish and my only complaint is how much it shows the dust! :)

For the specific pricing info, check their catalog:

That rug looks Tibetan wool/and or silk weave to me to me, too, for the reasons Lizzy cites.

But Crate & Barrel has a close cousin...really nice look for the money. Click my name/
