I think we are looking at a hybrid: the base appears to be Vladimir Kagan (or an imitation)-- these usually had glass tops, but the top here is not in keeping with Kagan or his imitators. I have a feeling someone had the top made (or recycled) after breaking the glass top.

I see these bases often on eBay, but couldn't find any just now.

Not sure where to get a similar one, but I do know that the one on the show was built by the set designer. From HBO's tour of the apt: "Conway searched for a table that would be ideal for the girls to gather around and gab - but couldn't find one that fit the bill. You can find one that's probably similar enough at Room & Board. It's not exactly, but it's keeping with that midcentury feel and when I saw in Chicago this weekend, I loved it.

I don't have any idea where to get such a coffee table, but just wanted to say, I've always loved everything in Carrie Bradshaw's studio apartment. What a great apartment for a single and stylish NY woman.
Love the sideboard/credenza, love the desk with the window view. Love the armchair, the bedroom with the lamp, and most of all that great big walk-through closet, that is well-placed between bathroom and bedroom.

I mean, the vintage armchair, not Aidan's armchair, which, while nice, seems too masculine and heavy for her apartment.

Where did the curatins come from in Carrie's apartment?

The curtians are a Marimekko Fabric. I have heard that it's Tantsu but I think it may be Kivet or Pienet Kivet but I can't find that same color way that she has in her apartment. If someone does know I would love to find out and where I can get it!!

Does anyone know where I can get the bluish-purple rug in Carrie's living room. I absolutely have to have it! :)

Does anyone know the maker of the lamp in Carrie's living room console table? It's a desk lamp that has a white crinkly oval shade with a steel half arch attached on top. I have the lamp base already and a matching floor lamp, but I forgot the manufacture. I need a replacement lamp shade for the desk lamp because our movers lost it.
