Good Questions: Similar Chevron Print Fabric?

After seeing this gorgeous vintage room by designer Albert Hadley, I am desperate to find similar curtain fabric. I love the uneven chevron print, but alas can't even turn up anything remotely similar. I'm aware of (and love) Rubie Green's chevron print, but the colors are wrong for me and the print is just a little too graphic and precise for my needs. I really love the almost ethnic feel of the chevron print in Hadley's room. Does anyone know of a source?? Thank you! Summer

We're always surprised by some of the gems one can find at IKEA in the textile department. We'd also recommend checking out Textile Arts. Anyone else have suggestions?

I suggest you contact Harry Zarin fabrics, maybe forward them this article; they have a huge decorating fabric store on the lower East Side here in Manhattan. Betcha they have something close to what you want.

Decorators Walk, Pattern: 2644034, chevron Print... It is pretty similar, It retails for about $100 a yard, but if you can find a designer to order it for you you can get it for half of that... Good luck!

I agree this is a great pattern but try to imagine what the curtains will look like closed. We have a very high ceiling and curtains that look great drawn back didn't work closed.

You could probably cut a stencil and do it yourself on canvas.

You have only to call Tillett fabrics through Tillett and Rauscher Inc (TAR INC.) who possess and print the original designs (all of them). To the trade, custom order only, 20 yd minimum, $185 per yard on canvas, $225 on silk. 212-737-7313
