Good Questions: Similar Style Console Table?

Peter is asking for some help in finding a cheaper alternative to this console: "Hi, My wife and I went in to Plantation in San Francisco this weekend and looked through their custom furniture catalog. This console is perfect for our mid-century modern home and decor...but the price is a little high! We have been looking for danish vintage, but this is actually by far one of the cooler and more interesting pieces we've considered. Any chance you can get your readership to help out a needy couple find the perfect piece for our entryhall? We love the simplicity and clean lines of this - it could go in many styles of homes.

Isn't there sort of a IKEA end table with that shape you could add legs to?

I assume you like if for the curved ends and open structure - although this isn't nearly as unique as the piece at Plantation, the Montreal Console Table at Macys could fill the bill:

this one is sort of similar, although it might be too small for an entry table.

Plantations is so over priced. They have a garden stool there for 295.00 the same one can be purchased for 129.00 from Wisteria.

Urban also has this console. It doesn't really have the same shape but is a bit danish modern.
