Does anyone know where I can find a similar lamp? I love the shape, but I need something that has a different finish (this one comes from Satellite). Thanks!

It's a rip-off of a Bauhaus design. You should be able to find plenty of other imitations if you look.

I've always wondered what those lamps were called myself.
they are: A Model 6631 table lamp by the Bauhaus teacher Christian Dell
there is an ebay seller with some nice ones. Not cheap.

Bestlites are also from the same era (30s, 40s), and they come in cream and white
Unica home has all the styles.

grrrrrr. you did it again. '(this one comes from Satellite)' and link to another at post instead of to the product. ok. so i garner you another page hit on the linked-to at post, and from there i get a link to satellite--but not to the freakin' lamp.
