Good Questions: Source for Penny-Candy Glass Jars?

11-20-glass-jars.jpgI have seen the penny candy variety from anchor hocking that are rounded and have metal tops and I've seen plastic ones, but not glass. I saw these on an episode of "Shear Genius" so I know they are around, I just don't know where. I hope someone can guide me in the right direction. Thanks, Wingpea

I just googled 'penny candy jars' and got too many usable links to even begin to share links.

World Market (called Cost Plus on the West Coast)--that store carries a ton of glassware, amid all the other stuff it sells.

I actually just bought one of these at Wal Mart. They have two sizes, are inexpensive, and still look cute. I think I paid 5 dollars for the larger one. Second best to vintage!

I have seen all of the ones mentioned, I was liking the five sidedness and the bailwire tops.

Were you ever able to find the hexagon penny jars, wingpea? I have been looking as well and the only place I have seen them is eBay or thrift stores and flea markets.
