I have two ID questions for the studio audience today: the first is a lamp, perhaps danish, and the second is a bud vase that I saw in one of the italian kitchens at ICFF. Anyone have any info on who makes the items in the photos attached? [one is at left, the other is below]

You know, I'm almost positive that the lamp pictured is the IKEA Samtid (which is priced at $29). I have it in my living room and love the way it looks. Everytime I try to replace it with a higher-end floorlamp (which has happened 4 times over 18 months), I end up sticking with the Samtid. Despite the plastic shade and slightly boring silver powdercoat finish, this is one attractively designed lamp that I'll probably hold onto for a long time.
Chiasso has some bud vases on sale that are similar to those pictured -- not quite as delicate and beautiful but you can't beat the price! Look under the sale center at "miami vases" and "meridian bottles".
